the beginning.

my name is mike and today, december 14th, will forever be remembered as the day i popped my blogging cherry. i'm currently schooling at the fine institution that is Purdue University. woot (hooray for gamers and their jargon). i'm doin the hospitality tourism and managing thing. it's tits. i came here from Wastern (Western Michigan University to you sucky ass people who aren't "down"). i have yet to care or put effort in my college education. Example: this, my first blog entry, was conceived at approximately 4:40 in the AM. in 5 hours and 20 minutes i will be taking my lodging final exam.
my passion is eating. i love food more than Hef loves the sex. it's probably the only thing i'm good at. um. what else do i like... i have a girlfriend. that's pretty crazy. she cool. crystal is her name. she's asian (which is also crazy). i like music. i like collecting records. vinyl. alas, funding is needed to keep this hobby alive. my recent encounters with the law prohibit me from being a consumer. damn pigs.
i've decided that blogging will be my anti-drug. i was fond of the drug called alcohol until the po-lice f'ed that right up. instead of letting me have a good time in public they made me spend a couple evenings (different nights) in a concrete jail cell. damn the law for prohibiting the use of my "drug of choice" (that's what court services calls it) until i celebrate the 21st aniversary of my birth (how arbitrary is that?).
yes this grainy picture is from a camera phone. yes i'm wearing a Purdue All-American Band uniform. yes it is awesomely rad. this magical moment was captured as the owner of the uniform was walking into the room. let's just say he wasn't too pleased with me.

i feel a sense of accomplishment. who knew blogging could be so rewarding? what a crock of shit. sniff you jerks later.
